A milestone update from CEO Glenn Lee II — April 2026
iAgency, an Irving TX commercial trucking insurance specialist, crosses $5M in written premium. Inside: the thesis, the numbers, and what comes next.
iAgency has officially crossed $5,014,340 in gross written premium since inception. For a commercial trucking insurance specialist headquartered in Irving, Texas, this is a milestone worth marking — but it's the floor, not the finish line.
This update is for the operators, fleets, brokers, carriers, producers, and partners who got us here. And for the ones we haven't met yet.
Why specialization wins in trucking insurance
When most general-practice insurance brokers see a commercial trucking risk, they see complexity, regulatory friction, and tight margins — and they pass. We saw a market that deserved a broker who actually speaks its language.
Roughly 90% of the policies we write serve for-hire commercial trucking. Owner-operators, fleet managers, and freight brokers running everything from single-truck operations to mid-sized fleets. We understand the difference between bobtail and deadhead coverage. We know what a radius filing actually requires. We've built relationships with the carriers that underwrite this segment correctly.
That focus is the thesis. The numbers below are what happens when a thesis compounds.
The numbers behind the milestone
$5,014,340 in total written premium, inception-to-date
28% all-time conversion rate — 277 wins, 712 losses. We track honestly.
$4M+ in active pipeline across 274 open opportunities
7 carrier partners spanning the top of the commercial trucking market
~90% of policies in the for-hire trucking segment
The pipeline number matters. It's not booked revenue — it's evidence the engine is still accelerating. The conversion rate matters too: in commercial insurance, brokers closing more than 25% on quoted business are operating at a different level than the industry default.
What this milestone means for the people we serve
To every owner-operator and fleet manager who trusted iAgency with the coverage that protects your rigs, drivers, and livelihoods — thank you. Your business runs on margins most industries would refuse. Getting the insurance right isn't optional, and you trusted us to get it right.
To our carrier partners who said yes when the risks were complicated — thank you. The market doesn't always reward specialization. We believe it should.
To our team — the producers, the operations staff, the admins keeping the machine running — thank you. The scoreboard is finally catching up with the work.
Where we go from here
$5M is the floor. $50M is the build. Operationally, that means three commitments:
Continued vertical focus. We're not becoming a generalist agency. We're doubling down on commercial trucking — deepening carrier relationships and expanding coverage capabilities within the segment.
Producer-first growth. We're hiring commercial P&C producers who want to specialize. If you're a producer who wants to eat what you kill and you believe trucking is the lane to run in — we should talk.
Systems over heroics. The next $45M won't be built by grinding harder. It'll be built on automation, process discipline, and a tech stack that compounds.
